Celtics interim coach Mazzulla misses game with eye problem
During Tuesday night’s game against the Houston Rockets, Boston Celtics interim coach Joe Mazzulla sat out with eye irritation and was replaced by assistant coach Damon Stoudamire.
Approximately 10 minutes before tipoff, the squad made the announcement. In the pregame show interview, Mazzulla did his best to hide his discomfort.
Due to Ime Udoka’s indefinite suspension for improper professional behavior, Mazzulla was promoted to interim coach on the eve of training camp.
