Warriors’ Curry out 2 more weeks with left shoulder injury

Published on

Golden State will be without reigning NBA Finals MVP Stephen Curry for at least two more weeks as he continues to recuperate from a partial dislocation of his left shoulder sustained on December 14 against Indiana.

The 34-year-old Curry has been out for the last four contests for the reigning champs, despite averaging 30.0 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game (15-18). On Saturday, the Warriors said he had been reevaluated and found to be making positive progress; a subsequent evaluation is set for two weeks from now.

On Christmas Day, the Warriors will face the Grizzlies in a repeat of their five-game Western Conference finals series victory.
